Rockwall

It is precisely the “lifestyle” that brought me to Rockwell: so close to all the conveniences, amenities, Power Plant Mall (shopping, theater, place of worship), dining, sports and leisure, etc. At the same time, residents are afforded the needed privacy, security and peace and quiet. It’s a one-stop shop: Aside from working in the office which is a short 15-minute drive away, I can go to the gym, schedule business meetings in the many available venues in Rockwell and have leisure activities right at my doorstep; and above all, no traffic to conquer.

We chose Hidalgo Place for our home as it’s the oldest among the towers; the cuts for units are generous but not too big and finishing materials are high quality. Also, Hidalgo Place is less busy, more private and quiet. It’s very convenient, with quick access to Power Plant Mall so we are near the grocery, shops, restaurants and most importantly the movie theater. Rockwell Club gym is just across the big lawn and club pool. We have our own pool in Hidalgo if I want to swim with my family, and I can always go to the five-meter club pool in case I need to train. We have used the Hidalgo function room and pool for our daughter’s baptism and birthday parties. In case I have to meet for business, I usually have it either at the Hidalgo Library or at Rocky’s; having valet parking for our guests makes it convenient to host parties; Ateneo is just across Hidalgo Place so attending Mass on Saturday afternoons or on special holy days makes it easy. There are security guards inside the complex, at every entrance, exit and corner who know us personally so I feel very safe especially for my family. It is very easy to go on holiday trips as we can simply lock up and go. The Rockwell community is nice and friendly. There is a sizeable expat community so the exposure to different nationalities and cultures makes for interesting conversations; I have friends who happen to be teammates and also live in Rockwell so it makes it easy to organize training sessions either at the club pool, gym or Bel Air to run. We have been living in Rockwell for more than five years and cannot imagine living elsewhere. It is my ideal two-block radius world where everything I need and want is just a stone’s throw away.

The location of Rockwell is perfect, close to all of destinations of my family needs, such as shopping, schools of our kids and my workplace. Despite its central location in Manila, the ambiance is excellent as we feel like living in a resort complex. Nobody in my family has thought of moving out of Rockwell to other places. Rockwell provides us with a good environment with many lovely staff supporting our lives here. My kids like all three of the swimming pools in Rockwell. We had my daughter’s birthday party last year in the ballroom of Rizal, which was a lot of fun for her and her friends. The place is secure and gives us no reasong to worry when inviting children. My wife makes use of other facilities as well, such as the tennis court, and fitness center. I like the Rockwell club sauna room, which I use for relaxation often, though I know should use fitness center more often as well! The equipment has been recently upgraded and is excellent.

My family and I enjoy living at The Grove for a number of reasons: we are very happy with the amenities that we can enjoy at our convenience, the facilities are well-maintained – corridors are clean, lobby is neat and even the parking levels are brightly-lit, 24-hrs security and very courteous staff are roving the building. What makes living at The Grove different is that even if we are living in a condominium, we can still enjoy more open spaces at the pool area and the lawn, where the kids can walk around and play. We enjoy the convenience of living in the city but once inside the condo, it is like living in a resort type hotel. So it’s as if we are always on vacation! I frequent the gym whenever I have free time while my husband and kids make full use of the pool and basketball courts. They are also happy to invite friends and cousins over for a swim or a game of basketball. I do not have to worry whenever they are playing since I know the place is secure and the friendly staff is always around in case of emergencies. We also had a chance to visit the nearby coffee shop and restaurant, plus the Grove County Fair.

We have lived in Rockwell for four years and I cannot imagine myself elsewhere or in other areas. My kids and I are happy here. They say a person must find someone who would fit your lifestyle. In this case, I have found my home, a place that fits my lifestyle. I work almost every day, I always plan my meetings and don’t need to go to other areas. I don’t have a stay in helper or cook and I have two kids. Rockwell for me is a big home, a home which we dine out twice or thrice daily. I feel safe here because of the security. My kids are happy here because of the amenities, activities and mainly because Rockwell is a quiet community. We are here because of the conveniences and the lifestyle. Rockwell is different from other places because of its lifestyle and quality of living. Everything is here. I can call Rockwell my home. I love to dine with my kids. We always go to Apartment 1B and Barcino, get delivery from AK Bistro, and sometimes at Bizu, Rambla, Refinery, Draft, Mamou or Chef Jessie. I also like watching movies with my kids, and I go to the gym almost every day, but dining in Rockwell is really number one. We love the food here.
